Riverside Inverclyde (Ri) and Entrepreneurial Scotland are celebrating after the second in a series of talks from some of Scotland’s leading entrepreneurs was hailed a success by attendees.
The event with guest speaker Andy Lothian, Group CEO of Insights, attracted attendees from as far as Switzerland as well as Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling and Ayrshire's. It was held on 6 November 2018 at the Custom House in Greenock.
Insights, which was started by Andy and his father Andi over two decades ago, is a people development company with its Headquarters based in Dundee and with close to 50 offices based all over the globe and a multi-million turnover.
Andy - who hails from Dundee - is the Chair of Dundee Heritage Trust, which is the custodian of Captain Scott's RRS Discovery as well as being a member of the Dundee City Strategic Advisory Group.
With the evening being Andy’s first visit to Greenock, he likened the ongoing regeneration in Inverclyde to what is happening currently in Dundee, highlighting the changes and some of the future opportunities to the attendees.
The event followed the inaugural Ri and Entrepreneurial Scotland evening with Jim McColl OBE held in August 2018.
