Dillon’s Garage, the flexible servicing and repair specialists, has announced an expansion into Drumfrochar Industrial Estate in Greenock.

Previously based in Cardwell Road in Gourock, Dillon's Garage specialises in servicing, diagnostics, timing belts, clutches, brakes, steering suspension and exhausts.

The garage is the latest tenant to sign up with regeneration company Riverside Inverclyde (Ri), taking one of the few remaining units at 2,690 square foot at the Drumfrochar estate.

Owner Paul Dillon said:

“It has been a great period of growth for the business but we were bursting at the seams in our previous premises.  The move enables us to continue to develop the excellent service we provide our customers.”

Having initially started trading from a workshop in Finnart Street in Greenock in January 2000, the expansion is the next phase for the business.

Paul continued:

“Since the relocation, the business continues to grow and compliments the other transport related businesses in and around the park.  We are thrilled to be a part of Drumfrochar and we’d like to thank Riverside Inverclyde for their support to date in making this expansion possible”

Drumfrochar Industrial Estate is Riverside Inverclyde’s dedicated transport park with a range of different businesses offering maintenance, repairs and supplies.  The estate provides a range of units from 900 to 5,380 square feet to support established businesses and those on a growth trajectory.

Andrew Bowman, Head of Business Investment at Ri said:

Riverside Inverclyde is delighted to welcome Dillon’s Garage to Drumfrochar and support the expansion plans of this well established and reputable Inverclyde business.

“These units rarely become available and Ri was able to be flexible with Paul to support his expansion plans.  The site and unit is a great match for Dillon’s and we wish Paul and his team continued success in the coming months.”

Located on Drumfrochar Road in Greenock, the estate entre offers 24 hour access, monitored intruder and fire alarm systems, roller shutter doors for secure vehicular access and generous car parking.

Dillon’s joins TMS Motor Spares, Mareleng LLP, R&S Autos, Scott Blast, Motor Medics, Greenock Tyre Centre, John O’Hare Body Repairs and Inverclyde Independent Peugeot Repairs at Drumfrochar with Cloch Double Glazing and M&J Timber completing the estate.

With the increased market demand for industrial space in Inverclyde, Ri will be promoting the final remaining unit at 2,690 square feet at Drumfrochar.
