CVS Announces Reach For The Stars Finalists

The finalists have been announced for 'Reach for the Stars' – the Inverclyde Community Awards 2018.

Run by CVS Inverclyde, the awards will see voluntary organisations and volunteers recognised and rewarded for their contribution to the local community.

Five finalists have been shortlisted in the Voluntary Organisation of the Year category, sponsored by the Oak Mall Shopping Centre:

  • Ardgowan Hospice/Compassionate Inverclyde
  • Belville Community Garden Trust
  • Branchton Community Centre
  • Gourock Golf Club
  • Heartstart Inverclyde

While the judges’ decision accounts for 50 percent of the marks awarded to each finalist in the Voluntary Organisation category, the People’s Vote will determine the remaining 50 percent and help decide the winner.

The People’s Vote is now open until Thursday 25 October at noon - to cast your vote please click here.

"Together, we are paying tribute to organisations, volunteer teams and individuals who make such a valuable contribution to local life, work and play here in Inverclyde.”
